Breeding Services
Choosing an outside stud service is a big deal — financially, emotionally, and on the clock of your dam's cycle. I take that responsibility seriously, and I treat every breeding with the care and respect it deserves.
What sets me apart is a deep working knowledge of genetics. If you're not sure how to pair your female to get the traits, structure, or temperament you're after, that's where I come in. I'll look at your dam, talk through your goals, and help you think the match through — what's likely to come through, what to watch for, and which combinations I'd recommend.
If one of my studs is the right fit, wonderful. If not, I'll tell you honestly and refer you to a breeder I know and trust whose stud is a better match for what you're trying to produce. I'd rather see you get the litter you're hoping for than push a breeding that isn't right.
When you breed with us, you're getting more than a stud — you're getting a partner in the process.
Process For Breeding Services
1. Reach Out & Stud Contract
Begin with an inquiry through our site. Once we've confirmed your dam is a good match for our stud, we'll send over the stud contract for review and signature so everyone is aligned before we move forward.
2. Choose Your Breeding Method
Every breeding we do is artificial insemination — performed two ways:
Side-by-side AI with freshly collected semen at our facility
Shipped fresh-chilled semen — $550 in addition to the stud fee, which covers collection, professional packaging, and shipping. Semen analysis is available with this option if you'd like it.
Either way, you're getting decades of hands-on experience behind every step.
3. Time the Cycle
We work with you to nail down the exact breeding window using progesterone testing. Timing is the single biggest factor in success, and we don't rush it.
4. The Breeding
For side-by-side AI, your dam is bred at our facility under direct supervision. For shipped semen, we collect, evaluate, package, and ship same-day so it arrives fresh and viable. This is something we do constantly — and it's reflected in our roughly 90% success rate on shipped breedings.
5. Confirmation & Follow-Up
We recommend an ultrasound around day 28-30 to confirm pregnancy and get an early count. We stay available throughout gestation for any questions or guidance you need.
6. Our Litter Guarantee
Even in a perfect natural breeding, some don't take — that's just biology. So we stand behind our work: if your dam doesn't produce a litter of 3 or more puppies, we offer a free rebreed on the next cycle. Same dam, same stud — your only cost is collection and shipping for the second attempt.

Our preference is artificial insemination — either side-by-side AI with fresh-collected semen at our facility, or shipped fresh-chilled semen. AI gives us more control over timing, hygiene, and success. That said, I will do a natural breeding if it's truly necessary for your situation. It's not my first choice, and a current negative brucellosis test is required for any natural breeding — no exceptions.

I have a deep working knowledge of genetics and I'm happy to consult with you on pairings: what traits are likely to come through, what to balance, and which of my studs (if any) would be the best fit for your goals. If I don't have the right match, I'll refer you to a breeder I know and trust who does. My priority is helping you get the litter you're hoping for — not just selling you a stud service.

That fee covers professional collection, packaging, and overnight shipping of fresh-chilled semen. It's in addition to the stud fee. Semen analysis is also available if you'd like it included.

Experience. We've been collecting, evaluating, and shipping fresh-chilled semen for years, and we treat every shipment with the same care as a side-by-side breeding. Our success rate is roughly 90% resulting in a litter — well above industry average.

If your dam doesn't conceive, or produces a litter of fewer than 3 puppies, we offer a free rebreed on her next cycle. The negative pregnancy or low litter count must be confirmed by your veterinarian, and we'll need a signed letter or written confirmation from your vet before the rebreed is scheduled.

No. The guarantee is specific to the same dam and same stud. If you'd like to switch either one, that's considered a new breeding.

Only the collection and shipping costs on the next cycle (or the cost of getting your dam to our facility, if doing side-by-side). The stud fee itself is waived.

We recommend starting around day 5-7 of her cycle, then testing every 1-2 days until we see the rise. We're happy to coach you and your vet through the timing — getting this right is the single biggest factor in success.

Yes. We can include a semen analysis with any shipped breeding if you'd like confirmation of motility and concentration before insemination.

Up-to-date vaccinations and any breed-specific health clearances detailed in the stud contract. For side-by-side AI or shipped semen, a negative brucellosis test is not required, since our studs collect rather than breed naturally. If a natural breeding is being considered, a current negative brucellosis test is required, no exceptions.

Yes. The contract goes out as soon as we've confirmed the match, and it needs to be signed before we begin coordinating progesterone timing or scheduling the breeding.

We ship overnight, same-day as collection, in temperature-controlled packaging designed specifically for fresh-chilled canine semen. It arrives ready to use the following morning.

For AKC breedings, you'll receive everything needed to register the litter once puppies arrive. For all other breedings, you'll receive several photos of the stud that you can use to market your litter — they'll carry my watermark, and you're welcome to use them however you'd like for marketing purposes. In every case, I also provide my stud's full health testing so you can share it with prospective puppy buyers.
